What kind of hair dye should I use?

I want to highlight it pink, I have either dark dark dark brown hair, or black hair, I already highlighted SOME copper or brown color, pretty cool. What kind of hair dye? Like Garnier Nutrisse? Loreal? Whichever has the color hot pink, so it actually shows, all my friends say it will look good on me too.

Ask a Salon It's going to be hard trying to find Pink Hi-Lites in the store the salon can do it easy you pay extra but you get your Pink Hi-Lites easy no mistakes and they can help you pick a color that you will look good in if you don't want the Pink Hi-Lites as much.

unless you lighten (bleach) out your hair the pink will be very dark or not even show up. If you did not want to go extreme i would say just use a temporary hair gel with the color in it. or just get pink highlight extensions. There are a few brands that stores like osco carry- I have not tried them, but when i was younger I frequently used manic panic dye ( available at hot topic and similar places) it worked well , it turned out great when you bleached out the strands you want highlighted.

Google "Manic Panic". They have a very broad range of colors. Depending on where you live, most beauty supply stores carry this brand. If you want it to be bright pink you will have to bleach your hair to a pale yellow color. Do not do it any lighter than this or that hair will have the consistency of cotton candy and it will eventually break off. Bleaching can be a little scary! If you used bleach on your hair previously do not reapply it to those areas. Bleach on bleach is not a good thing. If you don't have a Sally beauty supply in your area, your best bet is online shopping. If you decide to have it done in a salon go to one that uses Paul Mitchell color. They have some pretty wild colors available now.
