I dyed my hair black with loreal's feria "starry night" color Saturday, Its a dark black with blue highlights right now, I have not washed it yet and I REALLY like it, I have dyed it before with this same dye, And it faded to almost a brown color in about 2 weeks, What kind of shampoo can I get that will make it less likely to fade? And any other information to stop it from fading will also be helpfull.
I also heard, That with blue black colors the blue always comes out, Is this true??
Shampoo that won't fade my dyed black hair?!?!?
Pantene Pro-V has a line for different colors of hair. They have one for black hair. There's the conditioner and shampoo: http://www.pantene.com/en_US/expressions...
Then to preserve the highlights and to boost faded hair use the John Freida Color Glaze in clear. The clear one works on all hair colors: http://www.johnfrieda.com/products/produ...
I know how you feel! I dye my hair dark red and it's so hard to keep the color from fading into a orange/brown color. I use the Pantene Pro-V shampoo and the John Freida glaze and they both really helped when I started using them!

go to a hair salon and get a proffesional to recommend one for you. the salon products are garaunteed to work, rather than cheap ones you buy at the drug store. tell the professional you need a shampoo that will keep your color and she will get something for you.
i have the same prob. my hair is golden blonde and i dye it light blonde and i got a proffessional to recommend a shamp/conditioner for me and it works very well!
good luck

No matter what, your hair will fade. Try using a tinted shampoo to keep the color in a bit longer. Aveda and Bumble%26amp;Bumble make high quality shampoos for black hair.
