Dyed Red Heads (bold red) a question to you?

HI there,

I have dyed red hair. I've been using a loreal dye up to now. It's perminant but it just keeps washing out and going more orangey than red.

I want mega mega bold red though. Which is the best product for this. Liek the one that lasts the longest and is the boldest colour.

Is it manic panic, or star gazer or is there another one i dont know of thats even better?

cosmetologist and makeup artist here too, i tell people to mix manic panic with some shampoo and keep it on the head for about ten mins, called a soap cap. Works wonders. and dont wash your hair with water that is to hot as well, keeps colors from fading.

Red Hair color dosen't last long, It fades very fast. Permanet dosen't really mean anything, just basically means it last longer than Semi. So I don't think it really matters all that much what type of color you use, Red fades faster than other colors and will turn an orangey color...

Unfortunately time has faded my red and mixed in grey- so I have to ASSIST it to its former color- I would say find a Sally's Beauty Supply and get some help there- There are conditioners that help with fading.
