Not good, my hair is relaxed too and breakage is really bad for relaxed hair. If you have too much breakage your going to need to get it all cut off. You need to condition your hair as much as possible, I suggest using Nairobi products which you can find online for cheap, and are actually meant for relaxed hair. Also, don't use any kind of heat on it. Good luck!

Did you go to a dermatologist?

You are damaging your hair. Your hair is not supposed to be relaxed. Go to this website and get som suggestions from other black women experienced the same thing.

What's the best brand and shade of red hair permanent dye?

On natural medium brown hair which permanent hairdye have you personally used yourself or on someone else that actually changes the haircolor and makes it LOOK red. I use a 40 volume developer with Loreal HiColor (especially made to use on brown hair) and have had some results but I don't know of all the best red dyes out there. I know they fade and that's not my big concern as I take care of my hair and don't wash daily to make it last. My main issue is I want my hair to look red, not brown red or auburn red. And, I want it to be bright (sort of cherry) red and not orangey. I know about bleaching first and I'm not going to do that at this stage. So, if you know of any good brands and shades of hair dye that really gave you a 'noticeably' red color on your brown hair, let me know! It's got to be permanant haircolor.

What's the best brand and shade of red hair permanent dye?

schwarzkopf - no others!!! they have some amazing bright colours! dont use bleach before hand, ever! only if you want pink hair! never use bleach underneath a bright colour, because it will make it go the wrong colour

Aveda has really good reds, they have an intense series just for that I just did a color yesterday with bright red slices + highlights that turned out awesome.

Finally, it's time to choose the brand. There are simply too many brands on the market to go over the pros and cons of each, but professional stylists suggest that you use a popular brand name. Why? Two reasons:

1. Popular brands are usually popular for a reason. If L'oreal's hair products were known to turn hair green, you'd hear about it. But if you use the obscure "Bombshell in a Bottle," you might turn into more of a bomb than a bombshell.

2. Popular brands usually have a help line that's listed right on the box. Although you're most likely not going to get hair experts when you call, you'll get answers to common problems you may encounter during the actual dyeing of your hair.

Your best bet is to go with a brand that a friend has recommended. However, don't go with a brand simply because you like your friend's hair color (it won't look the same on you). Go with it because she says it doesn't smell like rotten eggs, it was relatively easy to use, it doesn't fade quickly, yada yada yada.

There are an increasing number of hair dyes made especially for men on the market, though most of them are gray-reducers. L'oreal, for example, makes "Feria for Men" in a wide range of colors. "Tipping" has become a common male request in salons, and this involves bleaching the ends of the hair (think *NSync). The same effect can be created at home by bleaching your whole head and letting the dark hair grow back in. Besides, if you don't like the look, you can just shave all your hair off, carry a tambourine, and ask for money at the airport.

I color at home. My roots were grown out so I colored again. My highlights turned greenish. Can I fi

This has happened to me before. I think I bought the same color again by mistake. I bought Loreal les True Brunettes Ultra light ash brown (by the way I LOVE this coloring, just bought the wrong color). Anyway, the roots look fine, but it is the highlights that I had, that turned a greenish gray. My natural hair color is dk brown (with a few strands of gray). The sun used to turn my hair a pretty blondish light brown. But now that I'm older, when my hair roots grow out, they are a ugly dk brown w/grays, so I've been coloring it light brown at home. I also highlight my hair at home (approx 6 months ago). Anyway, I have long hair and about 3-4 inches look greenish/gray. Is it too soon to re-color at home? If so what color should I try? Or should I highlight my hair? I know that if I just leave it alone the blonde highlights will come back, it just takes a long time.

Thanks for any advice you can give! :o)

I color at home. My roots were grown out so I colored again. My highlights turned greenish. Can I fix at home?

Because of all the chemicals that you already put into your hair I would go to a hair stylists so that you get the color you want. Yes it is to soon at home.

I color at home. My roots were grown out so I colored again. My highlights turned greenish. Can I fix at home?

try a semi permanent color -- natural instincts -- with gold or red in the name. the ends are green because the ash toned down the reds. semi-permanent is more gentle so you can do it the same day -- i have -- to tone your color.

I color at home. My roots were grown out so I colored again. My highlights turned greenish. Can I fix at home?

what has happened is there has been to much Ash deposited in the ends if you always use the same colour then you should only be doing the root when they need doing not taking the colour all the way through to the ends and when you do you streaks every few months take them through to the ends personally i wouldn't try to fix this but i would wash it with a salon moisturising shampoo and conditioner every day till it fades or go to the salon and have them fix it good luck

I got blackest black instead of natural black dye?

im trying to go back to my natural hair..im gonna use the Loreal Natural Match. My hair is kinda dark brown ish and turns orangish in the sun so i wanna cool it with this dye. But i got blackest black by accident %26amp; i don't know if i want to use it since i don't want it to look too dark. A long time ago i got soft/natural blacks and they all turn out unnatural looking black anyways so should i still use the dye i bought?

I got blackest black instead of natural black dye?

If ur hairs brown with orange tones, and u wanna get to a natural black, u'll need a black with a blue base, blacks black, im thinking u want more of a dark brown, cause if u want black, thats what u';ll get. I had a dark brown and some people said it looked black in some lights. Still get a blue based color, thats why box isnt good to use, box colors have mixed bases.

I got blackest black instead of natural black dye?

Your hair will most likely soak it up and you will have very dark black hair, and it most likely won't look natural. I would have it professioanlly done.

Hi, to me, the simplest way for Shinny and Frizz-Free hairs which i am currently using too, is to use Shampoos like Head Shoulders (either regular Blue or Pink with Zinc) + Herbal Essences (for Dry Damaged Hair) regularly.

On the other side, Home remedy is that u use Yougart mixed with Egg and Hair Oil, and apply it to ur Hair Pores, and as it dries, then wash ur hairs.

I hope this will let u get Shinny and Healthy Hairs
