I'm a hairstylist and a redhead and I would not recommend going lighter with a home kit. Red hair can easliy turn orange if it's not done correctly.

DON'T DYE IT!!!! omg, do you know how many women would kill for your hair colour?! I think that if you tried to dye it, it would turn kind of brassy looking. Honestly, keep your hair colour, but if you really must change it, then go to a salon and get it done... it'll be worth the few extra bucks!
