I havent used the black mousse but I've tried funky cherry and it worked horriblly. My hair was three different shades: pink, purple, and red. It's supposed to wash out in I think it was 8 shampoos? but it didnt so I ended up strippping my hair to get it out. I'd stay away from it if I was you.

I've used the black before. It fades uneven and the cholrine will just make it disappear. It does not last long at all. I've also tried the cherry kind and that was just a disaster, as the girl before me pointed out. Don't use it.

I know that if you put dye or temporary dye in your hair, chloyrine will make it fade and possibly dissovle it. I know this from experience.
If you use any kind of temporary dye, it will streak after a while. It will leave splotches, and it DOESN'T totally wash out. I have numerous friends who have used it with brown hair, and it looks really tacky!

I haven't used the black but have used the red. Becareful that your hair isn't really dry or damaged. The color will grab that the most, and will have a hard time fading back to your org. color. Yes chlorine will fade it quicker, so does the sun and being at the beach (salt water)
